Colleen Joy Fisher, 95, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025. Colleen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William H. Fisher and her son-in-law, Ken Guess. She is survived by her three daughters, Sheryl Guess, Peggy Green (Randy), and Wendy Fisher (Tony Grzebinski); nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy in her life.
   
  
   
  
Born in Arkansas on January 26, 1930, Colleen was raised in lowa. She spent her early years there before she and Bill moved to Sylvania, Ohio. In 1968, the family settled in Temperance, Michigan, where she would make their home and leave a lasting impact on those around her.
   
  
   
  
Colleen was a dedicated swim instructor at the West Toledo YMCA for many years, where she helped countless children learn the life skill of swimming. She was also an accomplished seamstress with a deep love for needlework and crafting, always working on a project with patience and joy. She was known for her homemade breads, amazing pies and incredible holiday meals. Colleen approached life with warmth, grace, and a genuine appreciation for simple pleasures.
   
  
   
  
She was a devoted member of Lambertville United Methodist Church, where her faith and friendships flourished.
   
  
   
  
Her love, kindness, and wisdom will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and all who knew her.
   
  
   
  
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 22, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo.
