Cody James Tubbs

Cody James Tubbs, age 21, died August 27, 2018. He was born November 23, 1996 in Toledo and attended Sylvania Schools. Cody loved the outdoors especially swimming, dirt biking, skate boarding, golfing and gardening. He had a great sense of fashion and an appreciation for many genres of music. Cody will be fondly remembered for his loving nature, devotion to family and his willingness to be of service to others. He also had a great sense of humor, infectious smile and a laugh that brought joy to the room. His presence will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kim (Dave) Johnson; father, Gary Tubbs, Jr.; sister, Kaleigh Tubbs (D.J. Yeupell); half brother, Julian Tubbs; step sister, Karrygan Johnson; grandparents, Raleigh and Jean Horn and Ann Tubbs; niece, Dalayla Yeupell; aunts, Malinda Zielinski and Dawn (Joey) Tubbs; uncles, R.J. (Jessica) Horn, Jeff (Jules) and Shawn (Jen) Tubbs; numerous cousins and friends. Cody was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Tubbs, Sr. Visitation will be Friday from 4-9 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018.
