Clyde G. Snodgrass

Clyde G. Snodgrass, age 85, passed away Wednesday May 5, 2010 at Kingston Care Center. The son of Eras and Deette Snodgrass, he was born July 12, 1924 in Defiance, OH. Clyde received his Bachelor degree from Miami University. Where he was member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He married Merle Bairstow on Nov. 25, 1948. Clyde owned and operated Clark-Snodgrass Co., a Pella Window Distributor, established in 1961. He was an active member of former Covenant Presbyterian Church. He also was a member of Downtown Rotary, Zenobia Shrine and the Royal Order of Jesters. Clyde was active in Scouts and cherished the time he spent with his family at Lake George in Coldwater, MI. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Merle; children, Paul Kirsten Snodgrass; daughter, Jan Snodgrass; grandchildren, Andrea Snodgrass and John Ducat; and 6 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Parker and Rowena Hill. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 2-8 PM at the Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd where services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 PM.
