Clyde Dale Hatcher, age 45, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at his home in Toledo. Dale was born October 11, 1968 in Chicago, IL to Clyde and Mary Hatcher. Dale was a courtesy clerk at the Community Market in Delta and was formerly a professional wrestler. He wrestled under the name of Dangerous Dale Hernandez and later Clyde. He remained active in the wrestling community by maintaining a podcast specifically about WWE wrestling. Dale was a lover of all Chicago sports teams, but was especially fond of the Cubs and the Blackhawks. He was also a devoted fan of the Michigan Wolverines. Dale was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Delta and was currently attending Northwest Ohio Evening School of the Bible. Although Dale seemed rough on the outside, he was soft inside. He will be remembered for his tender heart and his dry sense of humor. Dale married Susan Weemes on September 16, 2011 and she survives. He is also survived by a brother, Duane Ken Garner Carol; sisters, Diana Mikels and Lydia Mathews Jeff; mother-in-law, Norma Weemes; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bob Weemes, Sr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-8:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd.. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church, 413 Main St. Delta, OH 43515 and there will also be a Celebration of Life Dinner from 6-9:00pm on Thursday at Strawberry Acres Park Lodge, 950 S. McCord Rd. Holland, OH 43528. Interment will be private. Dale gave annually to Toys for Tots and his family would like contributions in his memory to continue his support of this organization.
