Cloyce A Beard

CLOYCE A. BEARD Cloyce A. Beard , 98, of Perrysburg, OH passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012. He was born on January 4, 1914 in Bowling Green, OH to Elmer and Nettie (Vosburg) Beard. Cloyce married Margaret Goodman on December 6, 1937 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Parsonage in Stony Ridge, OH. They were married for 60 years prior to Margaret passing away in 1997. They had two daughters, Lois and Shirley. Cloyce was a truck driver twenty years at South Dixie Supply and ten years at National Cement Products retiring in 1976. Cloyce attended Bethel Assembly of God in Perrysburg for 50 years where he served as an usher, bus driver, bus mechanic, plumber, electrician, and carpenter. His church and family appreciated his talent for repairing just about everything. Cloyce was preceded in death by his parents, loving, wife Margaret, daughter, Lois Renner, brother, Glen, and sisters, Garness Beard and Deloris Kirian. Cloyce is survived by his daughter, Shirley (Harold) Frost of Perrysburg; sister, Zelma Snyder of Bowling Green; grandsons, Mark (Dawn) Frost, Donald (Lori) Renner, Bill (Karen) Renner, Dale (Carol) Frost; granddaughters, Diane Frost, Tammi Renner, Linda Prater, Cindy Frost and Sherry Frost; great grandchildren, Heather Ladd, Jenny Prater, Jamie Renner, Tiffany Renner, Katie Renner, Matthew (Erin) Prater, Jason Renner, Michael Renner and David Frost. Friends will be received from 1-9 P.M. on Thursday in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, OH (419-874-3133). Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Bethel Assembly of God, 665 W. Indiana Ave. in Perrysburg with Pastor Paul Rea officiating. Burial will be in Fort Meigs Cemetery. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to Bethel Assembly of God.
