Clinton Stephens

Clinton Stephens, 81, of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Clinton was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, uncle, brother, and friend.

Clinton led a full life of hard work. He spent many years at McCullough Construction (Port Clinton) and ran two businesses, Bay Water Hauling and Bay Pest Control. He enjoyed serving family and friends near and far with his handy work and business endeavors. Clinton spent his free time fishing, hunting, drinking his coffee by the water, and driving around with his wife to look for wildlife.

Clinton is survived by his son Paul (Shelly) Stephens, grandchildren, Megan (Garrett) Harvey, and Hunter (Alexa) Stephens, great grandchildren, Jack Stephens and Sawyer Stephens, and his brother, Denzil Stephens. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen A. (Abel) whom he married in Port Clinton on June 24, 1963, and passed away on March 24, 2020, parents, Asa & Bessie Stephens, sisters, Sophia Spade and Virginia Howard, and brothers, George, Sherrill, Earl, Clayton, and Eugene Stephens.

Visitation for Clinton will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, followed by interment in the Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton.
