Cleo A. Rush

Cleo A. Rush, age 95, of Toledo, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Genacross Lutheran Services, Toledo. Cleo was born on April 9, 1922 to Julius and Mary (Steib) Clausan in Walbridge. Cleo was a graduate of Lake High School and married her beloved husband, Donald A. Rush on August 28, 1964 and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and longtime member of Mainstreet Church and the Moose Lodge. She loved to bake and cook and her home was always open to everyone. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cleo Chinnis, Dorothy Rush and Robert Rush; special niece, Lori Hall; special nephews, Melvin Hall, Sr. and Melvin Hall, Jr.; six granddaughters; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. Cleo was preceded by her husband, Donald and nine siblings. Friends will be received on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge, Ohio (419-666-3121). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury.
