With great sadness, we announce the sudden passing away of Clayton Matthew Rogers, 21, on Saturday, May 16, 2020. He was born February 19, 1999 to parents Brian Rogers and Jennifer Holmes of Toledo, Ohio. Clayton graduated from Lake High School and Penta Career Center where he completed the Fireman EMT course and received his Fireman State Boards. He loved his dog, Ruger, and took good care of him. Clay was the light of his parents' life. Clayton was a loving son with a big heart and strong allegiance to his friends, and a good brother to his sister, McKenna, step-brother, Nathan, step-sister, Chelsea Baker, and step-brother, Tyler Baker. His grandfather, Terry Clayton Rogers preceded him in death. Clayton leaves behind his father, Brian Rogers (Amy), his mother Jennifer Baker (Kevin), sister McKenna, step-brother Nathan, his grandmothers Jackie Rogers, Jennifer Rogers, Arlene Holmes, Godfather Matthew Nguyen, as well as, many more relatives and friends. A time of visitation, with strict social distancing guidelines, will be held on Thursday, May, 21, 2020 from 2-6 P.M. at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 West Sylvania Ave. Toledo, OH 43623). In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Lucas County Pit Crew.
