Claudia L. Conroy

Claudia Lee Conroy, age 72, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2022, at Majestic Care Center in Toledo. Claudia was a graduate of Waite High School and was previously employed as a manager for BP. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, and when Cabbage Patch Kids were extremely popular, she would customize the dolls herself and sell them to coworkers. Claudia spent her free time camping at Big Sandys Campground, relaxing, and spending time with her family, and beloved dog, Zeeva. Her and her husband, John, also enjoyed trips to the Hollywood Casino and playing the 99cent slots.

Claudia Lee Conroy was born on April 11, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of William and Jean Woodward. She and John Conroy married on the 18th of December 46 years ago and have enjoyed marriage together ever since.

In addition to her loving husband, those surviving include her daughter, Tammy Sampson; one grandson, Matthew Sampson; three sisters, Bonnie Meyers, Julie Woodward, and Vickie McGranahan. Claudia is preceded in death by her parents, William and Jean, and her two brothers, Bill and Norman Woodward.

A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum at Toledo Memorial Park on October 12, 2022, at 11:00 AM.

The family would like to give a well-deserved thank you to the nurses and staff of Hospice and Majestic Care Center for the excellent care that was given to Claudia during her stay.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Kind Heart Hospice in honor of Claudia. Walker Funeral Homes have been entrusted in handling the funeral services.
