Clark Philbin Ryder

Clark Philbin Ryder, 91, of Catawba Island, passed away Monday, September 01, 2008 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. He was born on September 03, 1916 in Perrysburg, OH, the son of Ray Clark and Evelyn Mae Philbin Ryder. He married Elizabeth Betty Wiechel and she preceded him in death on May 19, 1983. Clark worked as an electrical inspector for Ottawa County and also worked at Standard Products. He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Port Clinton, OH. Clark will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Clark was also preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Ryder, daughter, Sharon Ryder Williams, brother, Richard Ryder and sister, Evelyn Schauder. He is survived by his Grandchildren: Mark Williams, Cynthia Adams, Pam Wedel-Helmer, Cameron Ryder and Chelsea Ryder. There will be no visitation. Burial in Catawba Island Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions in Clarks memory can be made to a charity of the donors choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
