Claris Greer

Claris Edward Greer, 76, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022. He was born on December 21, 1945 in Boaz, Alabama.

Claris retired from Crown Cork and Seal (formerly Kaiser Aluminum) after 40 years of service.

Surviving are daughters, Tina (Mike) Zimmerman of Springboro, OH and Tiffany (Rob) Smith of Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Lindsey (fiance’, Brian Young) Zimmerman, Taylor (Alex) Stayner, Caleb Zimmerman and Ashlyn Smith; two great-grandchildren, Zoe and Crew Stayner; dear friend, Carol Flayter; and special nieces, Theresa Jordan, and Kim Hannan; sister, Georgie (Fred) Hening, Patsy (David) Davis, Paulette Cook and Cindy (Gary) Williamson; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Claris was preceded in death by his daughter, Tara; parents Edkar and Jewel Greer; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Howard Burns; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Doris Greer; and brother-in-law, Jeff Cook.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Clay Township Cemetery. Brother-in-law Rev. David Davis will officiate.
