Claribel E. Perry

Claribel E. Perry, 97, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, May 28, 2009 at H. B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born on February 08, 1912 in Danbury Township, OH, the daughter of Arthur C. and Lulu Bahs Buck. On December 05, 1931, in Port Clinton, OH, Claribel married DeWolfe Rip Perry and he preceded her in death. She worked as a homemaker. Claribel was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, sang in the choir and was a member of the Ruth Circle. She was a member of the Christian Womens Club, Ladies Elks Lodge #1718, the Port Clinton Yacht Club and was a H. B. Magruder Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer. Claribel loved to go boating with her husband. She loved flowers and all kinds of gardening. Claribel will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Daughter: Joan Hickman of Port Clinton, OH; Sister: Lois Powell of Prospect Heights, IL; 2 Grandchildren: Jeffrey Deborah Hickman of Catawba Island, Jon Lori Hickman of Oak Harbor.; Great-grandchildren: Ryan and Aaron Hickman and Jason, Angel and Michael Miller. Claribel was preceded in death by her: parents, husband, brother: Wilson Buck and granddaughter: Janet Hickman. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM, Monday, June 1, 2009 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor James Lehman, at 11 AM, following visitation. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery at a later date.
