.CLARENCE D. PENN, JR. Clarence D. Penn, Jr., known only as MICKEY by his family and friends, passed away in his sleep on Friday, April 11, 2014. Mickey was born in Toledo on September 22, 1934 to Clarence and Mina Penn. Mickey worked as an Electrician for Owens Illinois for 19 years, then moved on to IBEW Local 8 Union in which he helped build the new Jeep plant. Once he retired, he was able to take more time to boat with his friends as Riverview Yacht Club. He even became an Officer for several years serving as Houseman and volunteered over 100 working hours at this club earning him many trophies. Mickey loved his friends at the Hill Street Pub and Centre Court Lounge also. Once Mickey entered a room, people were magnetized towards him because of his vibrant sociability. He had this aura of greatness about him and wanted all those who knew him to have a good time and laugh. He was a very witty man and loved to see others giggling with happiness. Mickey will most importantly be remembered as a loving and devoted father and a great friend to many. Mickey is survived by his daughter, Tina (Ron) Bialecki; sons, Mickey (Jodi) Penn; Tom (Angie) Penn; Rick Penn, along with his two grandsons, Mickey, Jr. and Samuel plus one granddaughter, Jennifer. He is also survived by his brothers, Ronnie, Nick, Jimmy, Keenan, Lucky, Aaron and his sisters, Donna and Nadine. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 7:00 pm in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879).
