Clarence E. Langston, 84, of Woodville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday afternoon, October 15, 2019, at Bay Park Community Hospital in Oregon. He was born April 27, 1935, in Calhoun, Georgia. Clarence retired from CSX Railroad over 20 years ago. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War as a Radioman 3rd Class. Clarence enjoyed gardening, spending time with his family and following politics-he was a staunch democrat. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Margaret (Rippin) Langston; son, Michael (Jenny) Langston of Parma, daughters, Linda Langston Mayer of Toledo and Debra (Terry) Allgire of Walbridge; grandchildren, Nicole, Michelle, Amanda, Deanna, Evan, Justin and Jessica; great grandchildren, Chase, Andrea, Cole, Evelyn, Samuel, Drew, Robert, Cambria, Jade and Arya; sister, Charlotte Kusian of Oregon; and sisters-in-law, Barbara Langston of Toledo and Carol Asher of Genoa. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lula (Brown) Langston, and siblings, Louis Thomas, Kay, James, Donelly, Charles and Herbert. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2019, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2019. Burial will take place in Lake Township Cemetery, Millbury, with a luncheon to follow for family and friends.
