Clarence G. Lucas

Clarence “Luke” George Lucas, age 86, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Edgewood Manor. He was born on October 7, 1934, to George and Margaret (Stayancho) Lucas in Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1995. He also spent many years refinishing boats at Gym Beach. Luke was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He loved his dogs, working in the yard, woodworking, camping, boating, and spending time outdoors. Luke also loved to spend time with family and friends as he would put it “telling lies”. He loved a good story. Luke is survived by his son, Randy Lucas; grandsons, Michael (Jessica) and Ryan; great-granddaughter, Murphy,great-grandson Miles; and daughter-in-law, Holly Lucas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Lucas and sister, Marty Thorp. Services will be private. The family has entrusted arrangements with Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice or Ottawa County Humane Society.
