Clara Rose Vass

Clara Rose Vass age 87 formerly of Toledo passed away on Friday February 27, 2009 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. Clara was born in Toledo, OH on September 20, 1921 to Felix and Mary Krall. She was employed at the former Champion Spark Plug for 34 years. Clara was a member of Little Flower Rosary and Altar Society and Champion Spark Plug Retirees Group. She bowled with Champion Retirees. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret A. Arne Hansen; granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Dwayne Williams and sister-in-law, Joan Krall. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; Parents; sisters, Alice and Helen and brothers, Edward and Joseph. Family and friends may visit on Sunday March 1, 2009 from 2-8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, where funeral services will begin on Monday at 8:45 am followed by the funeral Mass at 9:30 am. at Little Flower Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
