Claire S. Mrs. Fleming

Claire S. Fleming, 88, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. She was born August 31, 1923 to John and Sara O’Connell in Philadelphia, PA and married Thomas J. Fleming on Christmas Day 1943. Claire was proceeded in death by Tom, her husband of 62 years, infant daughter Mary Christine, and seven brothers and sisters. Claire is survived by daughter Patricia (Robert) Bidwell of Perrysburg, OH, son Thomas (Linda) Fleming, Jr. of Limerick, PA, and daughter Anne (Robert) Hipp, Jr. of Lafayette Hill, PA; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary, Perrysburg. A mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Rose Catholic Church at 215 East Front Street, Perrysburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose Catholic Church. The family would like to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate care and the entire staff at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg for their outstanding and loving care over the last 4 years.
