Christopher Walker, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 64. He was born on August 8, 1961, in Port Clinton, Ohio. Christopher’s warmth and genuine spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A very proud retiree of Jeep after 37 years, Christopher dedicated his career to his work with unwavering commitment. He also served his country honorably as a United States Marine, where he excelled as a rifleman and marksmanship instructor. His accolades included the Rifle Marksmanship Badge, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and Good Conduct Medal, a testament to his dedication and discipline.
Christopher had a youthful heart, often described as a big kid, bringing joy to family gatherings. He shared special bonds with his great nieces and nephews, entertaining them with his impressive repertoire of animal noises and cartoon voices, always ready to dance and share jokes. His honest and witty personality left a lasting impression on everyone, and he was known as a best friend to many.
He is survived by his beloved son, Dominick Walker; his sister, Lynne Myrice; his brothers, Jeff Walker and Eddie Walker; his cherished nieces, Alexis Myrice, Kylie Myrice, Megan Myrice, and Danielle Carlson; and his nephew, Patrick Walker, along with many great nieces and nephews who adored him.
Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Harry Walker Sr.; his mother, Sarah Walker; his sister, Rebecca Carlson; and brothers, Harry Walker and Allen Myrice.
Visitation will be held on October 15, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Walker Funeral Homes & Crematory in Oregon, Ohio. (3500 Navarre Ave., 419-691-6768) Military Honors will be conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps at 3:45 P.M.
