Christopher K. Runnels

Christopher K. Runnels, 48, of Genoa, died Saturday afternoon, September 5, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Christopher was born September 17, 1966, in Akron, Ohio. He worked as a salesman for Highland Appliance and ABC Warehouse in the Toledo/Oregon area. Christopher was a certified open water diver and enjoyed sky diving and three-wheeling. He also loved throwing darts and cold beer. His survivors include his children, Brooke (Dustin) E. Moll of Genoa and Christopher K. Runnels II of Kansas, OH, granddaughter, Sophia Boatman of Kansas, and brothers, Dwayne Runnels of Indianapolis, Bryan Runnels of Pemberville, and Gary Runnels of Newark, as well as his parents, Gene and Linda Zunk of Genoa. The funeral service for Christopher will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa. The family has suggested that memorials be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
