Christopher "Mike" Michael Jaynes

Christopher “Mike” Michael Jaynes, 57, of Perrysburg, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born September 26, 1964 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Vernon “Bill” and Nora (Grandstaff) Jaynes. Mike worked at Marcos Pizza and was known as the “Pizza Guy” where he was the vice president of product integrity. He enjoyed traveling to Naples, Florida and spending time in his condo. Mike was a selfless individual and always worried about others. He will be remembered for his kind heart and his love for family. He is survived by his mother, Nora; sisters, Cindy Crawford and Peggy (Lanny) Taylor; nephews, Jason (Kristen) Picking, Ryan Crawford and Tyler Picking; nieces, Kaitlyn (Justin) Zarate and Kristen (Kyle) Moore; great nieces and nephews, Carter, Ethan, Ally, Leah, Gavin and Kennedi. He was preceded in death his father, Bill and brother-in-law, Mark Crawford. Friends and family will be received Monday, November 29, 2021 from 2-7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home until the time of service at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. for those unable to attend, Mike's funeral will be livestreamed by visiting Mike's obituary page. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s name to the Leukodystrophy Foundation.
