Christopher Ray Mendieta, Sr.

CHRISTOPHER RAY MENDIETA, SR. Christopher Ray Mendieta, Sr., 55, died Monday, September 7, 2015. He was born April 20, 1960 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Antonio and Raquel (Lopez) Mendieta. He proudly served in the United States Army and worked for many years as a truck driver. Chris was a long time member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of The Eagles. Chris loved to travel and was an active family man. Chris is survived by his children, Max (Brandi) Mendieta, Elissa (William) Martinelli, Christopher R. Mendieta, Jr., Renee Mendieta, Leticia Costilla; seven grandchildren, his father, and eight siblings. He was preceded in death by his mother and nephew. A Memorial Service will be held at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133), on Friday September 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be private.
