Christopher W. Balduf, 42, of Clyde, OH and formerly Oak Harbor, OH passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Bellevue Hospital. He was born on October 9, 1976 in Port Clinton, OH to Clarence Buz and Vicki (Edwards) Balduf. Chris graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1995. On January 6, 2007 in Oak Harbor he married Lorilynn Bollenbacher, and she survives. Chris worked for Whirlpool Corporation, Clyde, OH for the last 11 years. Prior to that he worked for ABC Inoac Exterior Products in Fremont, where he first met Lorilynn. Chris served on the Portage Fire District until he got married and moved to Clyde. Chris enjoyed hunting, fishing, rollerblading, walking his dogs, riding his motorcycle, and watching his son, Clay, play soccer. Even with the challenges of his lifelong heart condition, Chris never let it hold him back. In addition to his loving wife, Lorilynn, Chris is survived by his son, Clay-Allen R. Balduf, son, Reynaldo Gonzales, daughter, Erica (Ed) Soper, daughter, Chloe Ruttschaw, grandson, Cedrick Anderson, siblings, Clarence Buzzy Balduf, Jr. and Jennifer Balduf, parents, Clarence Buz and Vicki Balduf, and paternal grandmother, Geraldine Balduf. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Clarence W. Balduf, and grandparents, William and Virginia Edwards. Visitation for Chris will be 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. by Derek Foreman. Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donors choice.
