Christino Moreno, Jr.

Christino Moreno, Jr. 74, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on October 9, 2024 at UTMC. He was born on June 17, 1950 in Toledo, OH to Christino and Rosa (Escabalzeta) Moreno, Sr.

Chris was a loving, compassionate person, who loved God. He touched many lives. He served in the Navy in communications. He was a sports enthusiast who loved baseball, bowling and football, "Go Steelers!” Chris loved his church family and was active with his Men’s Disciple Group where they shared stories of God, life, country and many good brunches. We will miss Chris's daily communications of phone calls, visits and much good advice. He always ended a phone call with "Love you more”.

Christino is survived by son, Jason; siblings, Amancio Moreno, Mario (Marlene) Moreno, Gloria Thomas, Lucinda (Tim) Perkins and Esperanza (Antonio) Ruiz and Regina Moreno with whom, he shared his loving son Jason with; And many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm with military honors opening the visitation at 1:00 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to benefit Chris’s son, Jason.
