Christine M. Toda

Christine M. Toda died peacefully on October 22, 2022, with her loving husband by her side at Otterbein of Monclova. She was lovingly referred to as “Granny” by most who knew her. Born on November 27, 1953, to her parents James H. Luman and Barbara J. Fox, she lived a full life raising her family, working hard and living out what it means to have a strong commitment to everything you do.

She attended school in Findlay, Ohio and worked several jobs in retail. Chris was the boss no matter where she went or what she did. She was going to be calling the shots.

Television, Pepsi, and steak were some of her main staples as well as Ferrara Rocher candy. You could often find her doing a word search while watching the news, Maury Show, Dr. Phil or Jerry Springer.

Everything about Christine will be missed by her loving husband, Milo; children Eddie (Emma), Shelly (Jimmy), Milo Jr., Ray (Rachael); 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held at Walker Funeral Home-Oregon Chapel (3500 Navarre Ave.) on November 1, 2022, from 4 pm- 7 pm. A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11 am with interment to follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
