Christine A Risner

Christine A. Risner, age 62 of Perrysburg, Ohio peacefully passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 with her family at her side. Christine was born in Napoleon, Ohio to Thomas Michael Beach and Ann Marleen (Evans) Beach. Christine was a 1973 graduate of Bowsher High School, and met her husband, Eric Nelson Risner, in 1975. They have 2 children, Bryan (Mandy) Risner, and John (Becky) Risner and would be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on September 3. Christine worked at Spartan Chemical, Days Inn, and Miami Industrial Trucks. Finally, the love of helping others reach their dreams prompted her to be a realtor for Danberry Realtors. In her spare time, she loved to create her masterpiece flower and fairy garden, read books, watch doggie movies, and be on the shores of Lake Erie with her family. Christine was devoted to her family. She grew up in a family of 9: Charlene (Garry) Kiss, Mike (Cass) Beach, Mark Beach, Caren (Tim) Bowes, Matt (Andrea) Beach, Tim (Marie Beach), Tom (Shelly) Beach, and Kelly (Rob) Jagodzinksi. Her loving grandchildren Landyn, Brecklyn, Jerzey, and Jordan brought much happiness to her life, along with her puppy Teddy. Christine was preceded in death by her parents and sister Charlene Kiss. Friends will be received Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 3-8 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551, with Pastor Timothy P. Philabaum, officiating. Family suggest memorials be made to Wood County Humane Society and Ohio Living and Hospice of Toledo.
