Christine "Chris" Kay Warren

February 23, 1970 — July 11, 2024

Christine Kay “Chris” Warren, age 54, of Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on July 11, 2024. She was born on February 23, 1970, in Piqua, Ohio to Cheryl and Ron Warren. Chris graduated from East Knox High School, earned her associate degree from Columbus State and later her bachelor’s degree in social work from Capital University. She would go on to work with children and troubled teens.

Chris loved listening to music, bird watching, and creating art with mosaics and color pastels.

Chris was known to have a uniqueness to her and a quirky sense of humor. She was able to often see the funny side of things and no matter what always showed love and acceptance for those at the “edge” of society.

She is survived by her parents, Cheryl Laubner and Ronnie Warren; brothers, Mike and Jim (Wendy) Warren, nieces Isabelle and Anya Sage; nephew, Cedric; uncles Jim Warren and Curt (Maryanne) Laubner; many cousins; and her special companion, Zoey, who stayed at her bedside throughout her illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Church, 117 Stone Road, Marblehead, Ohio.
