Christine Mary Mrs. Buck

Christine Mary (Thomas) Buck, passed away Sunday July 21 2019 in Crossville Hospital.  Chris was born in Toledo, Ohio and moved to Tennessee with her beloved husband in 1974. Chris taught school at the Head Start located in Clarkrange for 28 years and was known by many in her community as Miss Chris. After leaving Head Start, she shared her love with patients as a home health aide.  She was an avid reader and loved puzzles and games.  Also thought nothing better than garage sale or thrift store. Survived by her husband Douglas K. Buck, son Daniel, grandson Samuel and sister Jeanne Thomas, she was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer, her parents Joseph and Dorothy Thomas, brothers Steven and Michael Thomas and sister Lynne Tice. Chris had never met a stranger, her bubbly personality and infectious laugh was contagious.  Everyone she met grew to love her. The family has chosen Cremation with a Memorial Service at a later date. Jennings Funeral Homes of Jamestown in charge of the Cremation for CHRISTINE MARY (THOMAS) BUCK of Clarkrange.
