Christina Drown-Tomczyk

Aug 16, 1973 — Jun 23, 2026

Christina Tomczyk, age 52, of Fremont, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, after battling cancer. She was born on August 16, 1973, in Fremont, Ohio, to Theodore (Ted) and Zella (Bea) Radtke.

Christina was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to entertain and have parties. Memorial day BBQ was her favorite with paint wars, which she joined in on. She loved visiting with friends and family for hours on her front porch, especially with her brother. Her biggest accomplishment was her daughter Hannah and raising Jaeana and Cash. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart. Christina was a big kid at heart and loved watching older cartoons, Disney Channel, and movies over and over again, which drove her husband nuts. She made everyone feel loved and welcomed. Christina loved to bake and try new recipes. She loved to travel to Southern, Ohio to her favorite cabin. She loved all the kids who still visited and called her mom or aunt through the years.

On September 18, 2004, Christina married the love of her life, Jason Tomczyk; he survives. Also surviving are Christina's children that she adored, Daughters Hannah (Dalton) Anderson, Port Clinton, and Jaeana Smith, Fremont, Ohio, Sons; Cash Smith and Austin (Desiree) Fegly, both of Fremont, Ohio. She also claimed her best friend Dawn's kids as her own, Charly Doss, Daniel Doss Jr, and Taylor Adair.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lyle Anderson, Waylon Anderson, Kinze Anderson, Bowe Fegly, and Lukas Fegly; her brother, Ted Radtke; her nieces, Chelsea (Junior) Van Dyke and Josie Tomczyk; her nephews, Dylan (Allison) Radtke, AJ Radtke, Cody (Hannah) Brigner, and Kevin Brigner; her brother-in-law, Brandon Tomczyk; her father-in-law, Tom Tomczyk; her parents, Ted and Bea Radtke; and her best friends, Dawn Doss, Kristin Conner, Sunny Lopez, and Angel Sims. Lastly, she will be missed by her beloved pets, Tinkie and Tater.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Debra Slagle; her sister-in-law, Tanya Radtke; her great-niece and godchild, Raelynn Van Dyke; numerous aunts, uncles, and grandparents; and her lifelong friend, Walt Fegly.

Christina was very pleased with a wonderful support system and friendship from family and friends, so many we wouldn't have enough room to put everyone down.

Per Christina's wishes, there will be no funeral arrangements at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christina's younger children or Sandusky County United Way Cancer Fund.
