Cheryl Yeager

Cheryl L. (Wagner) Yeager, age 67, passed away peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by her family on June 18, 2023. The daughter of Richard and Ruth (Gleason) Wagner, she was born on August 4, 1955, in Toledo. Cheryl graduated from Sylvania HS and went on to receive her associate degree at The University of Toledo. She retired from UTMC as a cardiovascular technician of more than 20 yrs.

Cheryl enjoyed reading, Harley Davidson motorcycles, crime shows, vacationing on the beach and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Her true passion was that she would do anything for her children and grandchildren. Cheryl was the glue that held them together and there will be an empty spot in each of their hearts, but her memory will live on forever.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Dawn Honisko, Sherry (Shawn) Mohler, Tina Yeager, Lee Anne (Robert) Degler; grandchildren, Stephenie (Devon), Jaeson (Mindy), Abigail, Harley (Spencer), Lucas, William, Elliot; greatgrandchildren, Grayson, Gavin, Avianna, Jaeson; siblings, Denise (Gene) Poggemeyer, Anita (Al Vargo) Clayton, and Stephen (Laura) Wagner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and parents.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, June 23, 2023, beginning at 11 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home, until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
