Cheryl Ann Mallery

Cheryl Mallery, age 64, of Toledo,OH, passed away on September 25, 2021, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on May 19, 1957 in Toledo, OH and met Marvin Mallery in 1989. They were married in 1999. Cheryl was a 1976 graduate of Start High School where she was a social butterfly. She spent much of her life enjoying raising her children, bowling and golfing. She flourished 12 years as a home health aid for Hospice of Northwest Ohio where she was known to be incredibly caring and always found a way to connect with the patients. Cheryl loved to play Euchre, especially with her mom and enjoyed golfing as well as camping with her husband and family. She loved her Hallmark movies, watching all kinds of shows, enjoying good food, connecting with her ever growing online community but most importantly, epic family game nights! We know she will always be sending her “smoochies” from heaven. Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Marvin (affectionately referred to as “Marvie”) Mallery; children, Tara (James) Koch and Eric (Robyn) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Brittany, Nicole, Kyle, Parker and Avery; brother, Bobby (Dede) Ruckman and niece, nephews, many cousins and numerous aunts and uncles. Welcoming her into eternity with open arms is her loving mother, Shirley Ruckman and her godfather, Uncle Bud. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623 (419-841-2422). Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
