Cherie L. Abalos

Cherie L. (DeMoe) Abalos, 51, of Toledo, passed away November 4, 2014. She was born July 19, 1963 in Toledo. Cherie is survived by her mother, Bessie Wright; daughters, Michelle and Misty Petrey; granddaughter, Daviya Larket (her heart); siblings; Carol DeMoe, Sandy (Jed) Moskwa, Darlene (Bernard) Stuard, Charlene (Nick) Meisner, Charles (Cathy) DeMoe III, Holly Sayre, Danny Joe (Melanie) DeMoe, Rick (Tonya) DeMoe and Kimberly Braden. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Petrey; brother, Clark DeMoe; dad, Clarence Wright; and father, Charles DeMoe. Shell always be remembered as a free spirited, caring and generous person who never wanted to hurt, judge, or offend anyone. She was a very happy member of a close knit family, all who enjoyed laughing happenings and playing jokes on each other.  Cherie also enjoyed collecting angels and studying her Bible.  She is now pain and sorrow free and will be sadly missed by her family. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.).
