Charlotte Sue Stieben

Charlotte Sue (Gossard) age 81 of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 31, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Charlotte was born in Hardin, County, OH on February 27, 1936 to Andrew and Esther (Spain) Gossard. In her youth, Sue was a tap dancer and was involved in beauty pageants. After winning the local pageant in Hardin County, she advanced to participate in the state level. After graduating from Roundhead High School, Sue was employed at Hart Jewelers in Lima, Ohio. Sue then entered the banking industry working her way up to manager at First Federal Savings of Toledo. Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Larry Winegardner, Carol Flee, Sharon OKeefe, Judy Wolfe, Sally Mescher, Timothy Cummings, Patsy McCullough, Karen Quatman, Maura Reese, Mona Gossard and Marlon Gossard. Also surviving is her sister in-law, Beth Gossard; special friend and caregiver, Nancy Hardin and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Wilda Winegardner, Garfield Gossard, Oguerta Cummings and Lyman Gossard; niece, Janice Ford and nephews, Maurice, Matthew and Michael Gossard. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 1:00 PM until the time of services at 3:00 PM.
