Charlotte Lynn Galliher, 53, of Oak Harbor, passed peacefully April 22, 2014. Throughout her long, courageous fight against breast cancer, Chars upbeat outlook on life and continual fun-loving spirit never faltered. Char was born June 11, 1960 in Fremont, Ohio, to John and Helen Mae Timmons. She was a 1978 graduate of Port Clinton High School and was an employee of the Physical Therapy Department at Magruder Hospital. She is survived by her husband, David Galliher, whom she married on May 18, 1985, at Faith United Methodist Church in Port Clinton. Char was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends fishing and camping. Surviving are her children, Andrea Michael Forbes of Casper, WY, Krista Galliher of Oak Harbor, Mellisa Galliher of Yuba City, CA; family friend, Shaylee Cartmell of Oak Harbor; father, John Timmons of Port Clinton; siblings, Daniel Patricia Timmons of Port Clinton, Edward Debra Timmons of Berlin Heights, Johnette Steve Cellier of Port Clinton and John JD Amy Timmons also of Port Clinton; and Terry Blair of Oak Harbor, who was like her own brother. She is preceded in death by her mother. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 26, 2014 with Rev. Janine Dress officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions in memory of Char be made to the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr. Suite B, Perrysburg, OH 43551; or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
