Charlotte M. Cordes

Cordes Charlotte Mary Idzik Charlotte Mary Cordes passed away Friday, December 05, 2008 at the Avalon Nursing Home in Perrysburg, OH. Charlotte was born in Toledo, OH to John and Mary Idzik. She and her husband Waldo owned the Toledo Sash Company where they worked side by side for over 30 years. Charlotte was a longtime member of St. Adalberts Catholic Church. Charlotte is survived by her nieces, Mary Ann Ward and Michelle Funkhouser; nephew, David Bowling; great-nieces, Denise Lochotzke, Cynthia Krause, Angie Ovens, Jennie Yackey, and Megan Funkhouser; great-nephews, Donald Ward and Matthew Funkhouser; and 9 great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo; sister, Jennie Bowling; brother, Alvin Idzik; and niece, Diane Stang. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-8:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. with a Scripture Service at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30am at the funeral home.
