The family would like to thank the many physicians who treated Mom since her return to Ohio in the summer of 2018. They include, Nurse Practitioner Stephanie Shanks and Drs. Eugene Lin, Mohammad Al-Nsour, Suketu Patel, and Dean Bernardo.
Finally, our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassionate and exceptional care for Mom beginning February 10 until her passing, and for their support for the family and guidance provided. Her care team included nurses Valerie and Jenny, social worker Kathy, aide Lisa, and the respite team at the South Detroit Avenue location. Mom’s quality of life improved significantly for the first couple of months under the care of Hospice, and we are so very grateful for the time we had to talk, laugh, and cry.
