He enjoyed relaxing in his back yard by the pool, traveling especially to Florida and spending time with his family and friends. He also had a special place in his heart for his puppies, Tegan and Isabelle who were his constant companions. He was a member of the Sylvania Pyramid Masonic Lodge. Mostly, though, Charlie was a kind, gentle and loving man whose smile, chuckle and jokes will be missed for a long time. Charlie is survived by the love of his life, his soul mate, Lori. Charlie was preceded in death by grandparents-in-law, Joseph and Vallie Stone, Fred and Adaline Richards and mother-in-law, Donna Stone, his father and mother, Harold and Elva; brother, Harold and sister Evelyn. His sister Annie Matuszak survives as do his sons, Allen and Mike. The family wishes to thank the special people at Toledo Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their attention and support during the last difficult week, and especially Janine, his nurse. Special thanks also to Dr. Pipoli and Dr. Jacob. Visitation for Charlie will be on Friday, August 14 from 3-9 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 15 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Masonic service will be Saturday prior to the funeral service.
