Charles W. Popovich, Jr.

Charles W. Popovich Jr., 79, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home. He was born on May 1, 1939 to Charles and Yeng (Delene) Popovich Sr. in Johnstown, PA. He loved to work. He also enjoyed fishing and playing softball. He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife of 28 years, Sharon; second wife, Kay; brother, Nick; and close friend Betty. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Cynthia (Tim) Popovich, Charles W. (Danette) Popovich III; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Barb (Jim) Adams and Lola Humphrey; and sister-in-law, Martha Popovich. Visitation will be held Monday, October 29, 2018 from 2 pm- 8 pm at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Ave, Oregon, OH (419-691-6768). Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Kim Bailey for the compassionate care that she provided to Charles.
