Charles Blaine Peterman, Jr

Charles B. Peterman, Jr., 34 of Perrysburg, Ohio died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. He was born on March 11, 1980 in Winfield, Illinois to Charles B. and Darlene A. (Hirsch) Peterman. He graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1998. He bravely served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army serving two tours in Iraq as a Calvary Scout. Charles enjoyed the outdoors especially hiking and boating. He had a creative side and was talented in woodworking making beautiful pens and won awards for his photography. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his beloved dog, Billy and greatly loved his 2 nieces. Charles is survived by his parents, Charles and Darlene Peterman, Sr.; brother, Mark (Marisa) Peterman of California; grandmother, Rosalie Hirsch; 2 nieces; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Glen and Ann Peterman; maternal grandfather, Kenneth Hirsch. Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133) on Thursday, July 3 from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM with a funeral service starting at 5:00 PM.
