Charles T. Ondo

Charles T. Chuck Ondo, age 72, of Toledo, died from complications of heart failure on May 28, 2017 at Flower Hospital. He was born November 30, 1944 in Toledo to the late Stephen and Viola Ondo. Chuck graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1963 and served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1966-68. He was employed for 33 years with A.P. Parts, retiring as an inspector. An easy-going and friendly man, Chuck enjoyed woodworking and working out at the gym. He was a member of the Sylvania Moose and served as a trustee with his HOA. Chuck loved his dogs and especially his current pet Yorkie, Daisy. He found his greatest joy spending time in the sunshine in the Caribbean or at his home for 6 months of the year in Ruskin, FL. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Kathleen; son, Brian; sister, Charlene (Louis) Laberdee; mother-in-law, Onalee Waldo; sisters-in-law, Robin Pennell, Chris Simon and Dawn Waldo; and nephews, Joe and Jimmy Laberdee. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas; father-in-law, Richard Waldo; and nephew, Jeff Klorer. At Chucks request, there will be no services. Memorials in Chucks name may be made to his family.
