Charles David Lemon

Charles David Lemon, age 76 of Lyons, Ohio passed away August 3, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 21, 1940 in Sutton, West Virginia to Bob and Cleo Anderson. He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Charles was preceded in death by his son Thomas Lemon; brother Gene Lemon; sister Patty Kreb; brother-in-law Bud Ankey; sisters-in-law Dianne Gleason, Barbara Staifer and Mayjo Prather; and mother-in-law, Martha Riggs. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joyce; daughter Tammy (John) Fehser; son David Lemon; grandchildren Jeanna and Brandy Lemon and Justin (Shannon) and Bradley (Sylvia) Fehser; great-grandchildren Kadince Solly, Johnathin Stevenson, Eric Norman and Lilly Ann Haley; brother Sam Lemon; brothers-in-law Robert Gleason, Charles Gleason, Jr., William (Linda) Ely and Robert Staifer; sisters-in-law Sue Ankey and Chrissy Lemon; dear friend Joan Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Monday from 4-8 PM where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM.
