Charles E. Lattimore, 77, of Fremont, OH died Saturday, April 10, 2010 at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1932 in Gypsum, OH to William E. and Grace E. Leggett Lattimore. On February 19, 1955 in Port Clinton, OH he married Shirley Hamann, and she survives. Charles was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War, earning the Korean Service Ribbon with one Bronze Service Star. Charles worked as a truck driver for 40 years, retiring in 1995. He earned his CDL license in 1951. Charles was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor. Charles enjoyed watching trains, playing cards, bowling, cooking, baking, and enjoyed good food. In addition to his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley, he is survived by his sons: Charles Chuck E. Lattimore of Oak Harbor and Edward Ed June Lattimore of Oak Harbor; 6 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister: Marion Warren Rose of Port Clinton, OH; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Diana McAttee, brothers: Richard, Bill, and Jim Lattimore, and sisters: Bernice Colvin and Marjorie Foss. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 2-8 p.m., with the family present from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor with full military graveside honors.
