Charles L. Keller age 85 of Maumee, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Gallipolis, OH on January 1, 1933. Chuck was a 1951 graduate of Maumee High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. He attended the University of Toledo for 2 years majoring in Industrial Management. Chuck was employed at L.O.F., Rossford Plant for 30 years and at JR Contracting for 25 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the casino, and spending time at Sidecut Park with Marilyn. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Chuck was a member of the Maumee Eagles. He was affectionately known as Big Guy and Pops by his family members. He will be dearly missed. Surviving is his loving wife, Marilyn; daughter, Susan (Chad) Baker; sons, Kelly Keller and Gerald (Joye) Keller; step-children, Renee (Dave) Harnica, Charles (Ann Marie) Siffer, Kathy (Mike) Pearce, Lorraine Hanvey, John (Sarah) Siffer and Mary Ucci. Also surviving are grandchildren, Adalyn Baker, Jessica Mohr, Chelsey Keller-Stetson, Chase and Cambell Keller; many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Fran Hemple; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Genevieve and Meredith Keller; and brother, Eldon Keller. Family and Friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12 Noon in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Stroke Foundation in his memory.
