Charles Junkins

Charles T. Junkins, age 91, of Toledo, Ohio, died on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at The Manor at Perrysburg. He was born on September 4, 1921 in Weston, Ohio to Thomas and Katherine Hamas Junkins. Charles was a WWII army veteran who was awarded 3 Bronze Stars and retired from Conrail Railroad where he worked as a Brakeman. He enjoyed farming, horses and trucks. Charles is survived by his wife, Opal Maples; sons, Charles Jr. Cheryl and Daniel; daughters, Sandy Harden and Sonya Bob Lord; four grandchildren; great granddaughter, Kyla and other great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and two brothers. Friends and family will be received at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 2pm until the services at 6pm. Interment will take place in Russellville, Kentucky.
