Charles Eugene Johnson

Charles Eugene Johnson, age 59, passed away suddenly at the University of Toledo Medical Center. The son of Arlinda Johnson and Redell Williams, Sr., he was born on July 30th, 1950 in Ferriday, Louisiana. He moved to Toledo with his parents in 1958. He was employed at Erie Steel, COSI and most recently Medcorp. A member of Harvest Christian Assembly Church, he worked as their sound man. Charles is survived by his wife, Sharie; daughters, Rachel Terry Pitts, KellyJo Baze, & Chantillie John Doering; seven grandchildren; siblings, Rhonda Perry Harris, Jr., Geraldine Davis, Linda Jane Thompson, Redell Williams, Jr,. Natalie, Steven Angela Williams, Terri Ann Williams Butch, Sheila Williams, and Michael Kelly Williams and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family may visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., west of Corey Rd. on Thursday from 2-9 pm where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM.
