Ed Craddock, age 82, of Holland, Ohio passed away June 7, 2013 at St. Lukes Hospital. Born in Hartford, CT on July 28, 1930 to Harry and Olive Kemp Craddock. Ed attended The University of Hartford and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Ed worked for the Aetna Life Insurance Company in Hartford, in 1957, Ed moved to Toledo, Ohio where he was employed as a Senior Vice President at Picton-Cavanaugh Insurance Agency, specializing in commercial property casualty insurance. He was a member of the American Legion Toledo Post #335 and was also active in various insurance groups including the Toledo Association of Independent Insurance Agents and other community and fraternal groups. Ed was a member of Westgate Chapel Church where he was very active in the Evangelism Explosion Ministry, Deacon, home bible studies and a member of The Gideons International -Toledo North Camp. He also enjoyed various sports including ice hockey and fishing. Ed was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia, in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Sally; sister, Margaret Peg Ziobron; step-children, Edward Patricia Barry, James Mary Claire Barry, Delana Barry, Andrew Lippman, Kimberly Dennis Isabell, Susan Kenneth Wineke and Laura Joseph Chandler. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Friends are invited to visit at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd on Wednesday, June 12 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 13 at 11 am at Westgate Chapel, 2500 Wilford Dr, Toledo, interment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park.
