Charles “Supa” Coleman, 79, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Thursday, July 23, 2015, peacefully, at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH, after a brief illness. He was born March 27, 1936 in Laurel, MI, the son of Hattie Belle McGowan and Garland Coleman. Charles enjoyed fishing, working on cars and hanging with family and friends. He worked many different jobs before going to McCollum Construction for many years. Charles “Supa” Coleman was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He leaves to mourn his passing, his Sons: Lynn Stovell, Michael Coleman and Charles P. Coleman, all of Sandusky, OH and Daughter: Christina Coleman of Toledo, OH; Sisters: Hattie (Joe) Fortson of Port Clinton, Edna Marie (Roy) Smith of Sandusky, Catherine (Larry) Wiley, Christine Johnson, Earstine Hampton, Barbara (Kenneth) Knowles and Brother: Billy (Louise) Coleman all of California; 16 Grandchildren; 28 Great-Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews & cousins. Charles was preceded in death by his long time companion: Elizabeth Richards, his mother, his father and one brother. A Memorial service will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, August 08, 2015 at Grace United Church of God & Christ, 1229 E. State St., Port Clinton, OH 43452. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, assisted the family with arrangements.
