Charles W. Blessing

Charles W. Blessing, 68, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on November 23, 1952 in Havanna, Cuba, the son of the late Bryce and Mildred (Armstrong) Blessing. He married Viktoriia Voloshchuk and she survives. Charles received his Bachelors degree in Accounting and was an accountant in the hospitality industry. He enjoyed all types of food, especially Mexican food; loved solving Sudoku puzzles; watching sports; listening to music, art, and was an avid dog lover. Survivors include his wife, Viktoriia; sons, Shane Blessing and Chris Blessing; and brother, John (Irina) Blessing. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his son, Jonathan Blessing. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 3-7 pm at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, 216 Washington Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. At 7 pm family and friends will be saying a few words and telling stories. Memorial contributions may be made to his son, Shane Blessing.
