Charles Ashe

Charles Ashe, 85, of Maumee, Ohio passed away on February 4, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on June 16, 1931 to James and Clara (Cramer) Ashe. Charles was a mold maker at Libby Owens Ford for 38 years retiring in 1991. He was a member of St. Josephs Church in Maumee and the F.O.E. Maumee. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Surviving are his daughters, Sue Ellen (Lee) Edson and Charlene (Mike) Haas; sons, Charles J. (Roberta) Ashe and Joseph V. Ashe; 5 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; sisters, Margaret (John) Gwynn and Carol French. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen; son, Kenneth Ashe; siblings, James, William, Vincent, Thomas, Clara, Joan Zuelke, Richard, and Cecelia. Family and friends will be received at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, OH on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 3-8 pm with a scripture service at 7:00 PM. Prayers will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 10:30 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Maumee.
