Charles G. Ade

Charles G. Charlie Ade, age 88, of Liberty Center, Ohio, died September 15, 2019 at The University of Toledo Medical Center. Charlie was born September 6, 1931 in Toledo to the late Sam and Grace (Ansara) Ade, graduated from Woodward High School and attended the University of Toledo. Committed and hard-working, Charlie and his wife owned and operated the Liberty Cafe in Liberty Center for more than 30 years. In his free time, Charlie enjoyed golf. He was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Christian Cathedral in Toledo and will be lovingly remembered for his caring and gentle nature. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Tania (Flaczinski) Ade; their children, Alexander (Marci) and Matthew Ade; and many friends in both Liberty Center and Toledo. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 3754 Woodley Road, Toledo, OH 43606 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 Wednesday at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. George Orthodox Cathedral.
