Charlene P. Fillmore, 72, of Oak Harbor died Friday, September 20, 2013 at her residence. She was born on March 1, 1941 in Toledo to Charles and Pearl Russell Whitten. On December 28, 1988 in Monroe, MI she married Roger Fillmore and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1991. Charlene was retired from the Ottawa County Building Inspection Department. She was a member and board member of the Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union, member of the Moose Lodge, and the Oak Harbor Bowling League. She also enjoyed playing Bingo. Charlene is survived by sons: Jack Sherri Ries and Bob Donna Ries, granddaughters: Jessie Wilke and Brittany Ries, great granddaughter: Taytum Benyak, former husbands: John H. Ries, Sr. and Bill Tetzlaff, and sisters: Joyce, Carol, and Linda. She was preceded in death by her parents and former husband: Roger Fillmore. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Interment will be in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Charlene may be given to Shriners Hospital Spinal Care Fund.
